Kuenstler is a husband and wife team, Vera and Brent Deckard, and they have brought this German/Texas infused brewery here to San Antonio. Located just minutes from downtown in a cozy neighborhood, they also offer a creative menu that they pair certain brews with certain foods. Stop by for sports night or even a tour, and they can also accommodate group/private parties.

It once was an actual brewery that produced Pearl beer and was deserted till a local successful businessman bought the area and brought his vision to life. This old gas station is now serving great craft beer, both bottle and draft to choose from. While you’re here kicking back, be sure to enjoy The Station Cafe which is right next door. From learning how to brew his own craft beer in his kitchen, has now grown into Back Unturned Brewery. Also enjoy their scratch made food items from salads, wings, to specialty pies that are made with homemade pizza dough. Any place that makes their own mozzarella is legit in my book!

They have an excellent beer selection, gourmet food trucks, and a full bar with creative cocktails.
